The project’s concept was to create a short story highlighting an underrecognized figure's contribution to society. I focused on Xun Guan, a 13-year-old Chinese girl from the Jin Dynasty. I envisioned the story by immersing myself in the historical setting and imagining the atmosphere of the time. To capture this, I created gritty, dark, and sketchy illustrations. These visuals aimed to reflect the mood and possible scenery of that era.
